In this production release (August 25), course settings have been reorganized. The CSV Import feature has been updated to give admins greater flexibility. Also, plenty of background work has been done on some exciting features that are coming soon! (Click an image to enlarge screenshot)
The options located in the Course Settings menu have been organized into categories for a cleaner appearance. The settings relating to course completion are placed under the General section. Settings relating to quiz questions are placed under the Quiz section. The Publishing section includes the settings related to how the learner can enroll in the course. Additionally, the Tags section has been moved to the top of the settings menu. This reorganization was done in preparation for an upcoming change to the course settings menu for SCORM courses.
Admins can designate manager relationships via CSV upload by using an HRIS id field upon import. This improves the previous functionality of only allowing Bridge UIDs to map managers to their employees. By allowing an HRIS id to be used in creating manager relationships, admins can rely on the information exported from HRIS system to maintain accurate hierarchies in Bridge. If the HRIS id field is mapped during the CSV upload, the HRIS id will be shown in a read-only field on the learner profile page.
