In this production release (September 29), authors can configure SCORM settings directly from the Course Settings menu. Also, authors can control how multiple choice quiz answers are displayed to learners. Live training course descriptions are no longer truncated on the Live Training Index page. A bug fix is also included. (Click an image to enlarge screenshot)

New Features

SCORM Settings Configurator

Settings for SCORM courses can be set in the Course Settings menu. The score calculation method can be set to use the latest attempt or using the average of all attempts. The configuration of how a SCORM course will open for learners can be set to open in the current window, a new window, or a new window that requires the learner to confirm the opening of the new window.

Multiple Choice Answer Order

Authors can choose to have multiple answer and multiple choice quiz answers remain in the same order as originally written by selecting the Preserve answer order checkbox. This might useful in cases such as quizzes needing an “All of the above” or “None of the above” answer option. Quiz answer order can still be randomized by leaving the Preserve answer order checkbox unmarked.

Updated Features

Descriptions on Live Training Index Page

Live training course descriptions will display in full on the Live Training Index page. Previously, the live training description would be truncated after the first line of text. No updates have been made to the original character limit of 255 characters for live training course descriptions.

Fixed Bugs

Playing Video on Chromebook

High resolution videos can now be played on any Chromebook without issue. Previously, some models of Chromebooks were not able to play 1080p videos that had been uploaded to courses. This was fixed by having Bridge automatically adjust the video quality to 720p for Chromebook users.
