How do I enable comments in a course?

Comments can be enabled for individual slides in a course to facilitate dialogue and communication between learners about course content. Slide comments provides a space for learners to share thoughts and ideas as well as provide feedback about a course.

Notes:

  • Comments cannot be viewed from the content editor.
  • Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.

Open Courses

In the Training menu [1], click the Courses link [2].

On the Courses page, click the name of a course.

Click the Edit button.

View Slide

View Slide

Select the slide where you want to enable comments. Edit course content as necessary.

Note: You can have multiple comment-enabled slides in a course.

In the toolbar, click the comments icon.

Confirm Commenting is Turned On

Scroll to the bottom of the slide to confirm commenting is turned on.

Note: Comments cannot be viewed in the content editor. See how learners view comments in a course.

Disable Comments

Disable Comments

To disable comments on a slide, locate the slide and click the comments icon.

Note: Disabling commenting will hide any comments on the slide but will not delete them. To delete a comment, you will need to be enrolled in the course.
