In your learner profile, you can add a profile picture. The profile picture will be used as your avatar (the icon next to your name) throughout Bridge. If you choose not to have a profile picture, your first and last name initials (default) will be used as your avatar.
Tips for profile pictures:
- Please choose an appropriate picture to represent yourself.
- Profile pictures supports the following file types: .jpg, .png, .svg, and .gif.
Note: Adding and removing your profile picture/avatar is not supported on mobile devices.
Hover Over Photo Placeholder
Hover over the Change Photo placeholder. There are two ways you can add a profile picture to use your avatar throughout Bridge:
- Upload Photo from your computer
- Take a Selfie using your computer's camera
Note: The Take a Selfie option is not supported when using Safari or Internet Explorer.
To upload a photo, click the Upload Photo link.
Take a Selfie
To take a selfie using your computer's camera, click the Take a Selfie link.
Click and drag the slider  to resize your photo. To crop your photo, click and drag the photo  until your desired photo fits within the selection box.
To cancel, click the close icon .
When you're done, click the Apply button.
To change or replace the photo, click the Replace button.
View Profile Picture
View your profile picture. Your profile picture will be used as your avatar throughout Bridge.
You can also see your name, tagline, and email listed below your profile picture. You may choose to update your tagline, which is limited to thirty-six characters.
