How do I send a message to an individual learner?

Account admins can send a message to an individual learner in your Bridge account. Messages are sent to the email address in the learner's profile.

Notes:

  • Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.
  • Messaging is a one-way feature; learners cannot reply to messages.
  • Notifications must be enabled for the account.
  • If a learner has been unsubscribed from email notifications, the learner will not receive any messages.  

 

Open Application Switcher Menu

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Application Switcher icon [1]. Then, click the Admin menu option [2].

In the Users and Permissions menu [1], click the Manage Users link [2].

View Learner

  View Learner 

Click the name of the learner.

Message Learner

On the Learner Details page, click the Message icon.

Create Message

The Custom Message option is the default in the message drop-down menu [1]. In the text field, enter the content of your message [2].

Send Message

Click the Send button.

Confirm Message

Confirm Message

Confirm your message was sent.

Note: Messaging is a one-way feature; learners cannot reply to messages.
