In this Bridge Learn release (December 21), specific due dates can be set for courses and checkpoints. Attachments can be added to course slides and checkpoint instructions to give learners easier access to learning resources. Certificates can be awarded to learners for completing checkpoints. A bug fix is also included. (Click an image to enlarge screenshot)
Note: In observance of the upcoming holidays, Bridge will not deploy any releases between December 23 and January 5. The regular release schedule will resume the week of January 8.
Due On Date Setting
Specific due dates can be set for courses and checkpoints. When the Due On setting is enabled, the due date applies to all new enrollments. Any due dates previously set for any existing course or checkpoint enrollments are not affected. If enrollments are added after the chosen due date, the new enrollments will be marked as overdue.
Attachments can be added to course and checkpoint content using the media upload icon. This new feature allows resources to be shown directly in a course slide or in checkpoint instructions. Learners can download the attachment by clicking the attachment title or the download icon.
Certificates can be awarded to learners for completing checkpoints. Once the certificate option is enabled, learners receive a certificate upon completion of the checkpoint. Learners can also view the checkpoint certificate by finding the completed checkpoint in their My Learning page and clicking the View Certificate link located under the checkpoint title.
Multi-part Live Training Location
Live training notifications include the location specified in the live training session details if the multi-part session option is enabled. Previously, the location was shown as “unspecified” in the notification email if the location of the live training was added after the multi-part session option was enabled.
