The Assessment is what Learners will use to score their peers and themselves. There are two parts to building the Assessment:

  1. Assessment criteria
  2. Structured feedback
  Click Create Criterion button

Assessment Criteria

Lets start with building the assessment criteria. Select the blue Create Criterion button. Enter the title of your question in the title field.

  Type criterion title

You can add a description of the question here if you want to dive deeper.

  Type criterion description

Next, you can assign a competency. Associated competencies are now set at the level of an individual assessment criterion. This allows for more specificity related to which aspects of a given exercise are related to which competencies. When you choose a competency here, it automatically appears to Learners in the Overview stage.

Select the Competency drop down and choose which competency is related to the criterion. Competencies must be created by an Organization Administrator. Once a competency is created it will appear in this dropdown menu.

  Select criterion competency

You can choose whether you want the levels of the scale to display the point value or the descriptor here.

  Select scale display type

Next, you set the scale. Every scale can have from 2 to 5 levels. Each scale level has a point value and a descriptor.

Add a descriptor in the descriptor field.

  Type descriptor

Set the value of each descriptor. The Assessment criteria can be independently weighted to reflect emphasis.

  Set descriptor value

To add a level, select the gray Add Level button.
