How do I use Bridge as an author?

After you log in to Bridge as an author, the Bridge dashboard defaults to the My Career page. Authors can manage courses and the learning library, as well as view all users in the account or subaccount.

Notes

  • Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.
  • Authors cannot assign content to the All Learners group.
  • If you only have Bridge Learn enabled in your account, the My Learning page will be the default landing page.

View My Career Page

As an author, the Bridge dashboard defaults to the My Career page. The My Career page gives you an overview of what is happening in your Bridge account.

Note: If you only have Bridge Learn enabled in your account, the My Learning page will be the default landing page.

View Global Navigation Menu

  View Navigation Menu

As an author, the Global Navigation menu includes links to the User Profile menu [1], Notifications menu [2], the Application Switcher [3], People search [4], and courses, programs, live trainings, surveys, and checkpoints [5].

To expand and collapse the Global Navigation menu, click the Application Switcher icon. The expanded Global Navigation menu contains links to the My Career [6], Author [7], and Admin [8] navigation options.

Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ based on what is enabled in your account. 

View Users

  View Users

Located in the Admin navigation option, the Users page shows all users in the account or subaccount. As an author, you can view and filter users by role and status.
