How do I send a certificate to users who complete a course?

You can choose whether or not to have your course automatically distribute a certificate when a user completes the course. Users can view certificates as part of their completed courses.

Note: Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.

Open Author Menu

  Open Author Menu

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Application Switcher icon [1]. Then, click the Author menu option [2].

Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.

Open Course

  Open Course

In the Courses page, click the name of a course.

Edit Course Settings

Edit Course Settings

In the course details page, click the More Settings link.

Add Certificate

Add Certificate

Click the Certificates toggle icon.

Confirm Certificate

Confirm Certificate

View the updated certificate status.
