Bridge skills are specific competencies that you can master in order to grow and be successful in your career. Skills are used in several parts of the Bridge interface. As part of your career development plan, you can search for and add desired skills in your Career Everest page. In the Career Development Plan page, you can also focus on developing specific skills.

Skills are used as the basis for Bridge assessments. Additionally, you can choose to display the skills you are currently working on in your Bridge directory profile. The skills you add to your Career Everest page and your Bridge directory profile will automatically display in both areas. Adding a skill to your Career Everest or profile will automatically add you to the skill community. Skill communities show your peers which skills you are interested in learning more about and which skills you are willing to help your peers develop. This PDF lists the default skills that are automatically populated in Bridge.
