A voluntary, non-remedial, instructor-facilitated, skill-based intervention that has been widely demonstrated to increase student success has been gaining momentum in higher education for some time.
Supplemental instruction is a nontraditional form of tutoring which supports students learning and develops life-skills which might help when undertaking "traditionally difficult" courses. Instructors who have successfully implemented supplemental instruction into their approach to traditional learning have seen significant success in student persistence rates.
Join our panelists from Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC), as they share ways they were able to incorporate supplemental learning with microlearning to further enhance success opportunities for students.
In this webinar, attendees will hear about:
HutchCC’s approach to better enabling students for a well-rounded, successful experience
How HutchCC innovatively combined their student learning solution, Canvas, with their employee development solution, Bridge, to create a best-in-class foundation for student engagement
Creating a strategy that drives student retention through non-remedial tactics, delivering significant success
