Release Notes 2024-02-23

Learn

In this Bridge Learn release (Feb 23), A few updates have been made to the User profiles page in the Admin view. We moved the "Mark User Complete" and "Reset Learner" actions to the 3-dot menu that is already available for the other actions. Error and Failure icons will persist with every upload when viewing the logs within Admin > Tools > View CSV Import logs. We updated the look and feel of our player. We added icons for the comments and the playlist to navigate between the two easily.

New Feature

Learner Admin View Changes

A few updates have been made to the User profiles page in the Admin view.

A search box [1] has been added for learning items to more easily find the item you're looking for in the user's profile, and a learnable types filter [2], similar to the current functions the Learners have on their My Learning page.

Archived items are no longer visible in the user's profile but remain in transcripts.

Certificates [3] are accessible within the list of learning items, and the side drawer no longer opens to access them.

Update Features

Enrollment Actions Move

We moved the "Mark User Complete" and "Reset Learner" actions to the 3-dot menu that is already available for the other actions. All actions you can take on a learner's enrollment are in one place.

CSV Log Improvements

Error and Failure icons will persist with every upload when viewing the logs within Admin > Tools > View CSV Import logs. Previously, only the last upload showed an icon that didn't visually represent historical issues with the uploads.

Customers with a larger volume of users are not throttled by an ability to see only 99 of those errors. You can now export the errors from Bridge to work with individual user records without having to do everything through matching exercises between the Bridge interface and your imported data file.

Bridge Advanced Video Player

We updated the look and feel of our player. We added icons for the comments and the playlist to navigate between the two easily. Chapters are more obvious along the playbar as we reduced the number of buttons alongside it.

Note: The slidedeck page, where you can show a powerpoint side-by-side with a video, has yet to be updated. Those videos must use the current player until that page has also been updated.
