Bridge allows authors to embed content from external sites directly into Bridge courses using the Embedly integration. The Embedly integration supports a wide variety of content providers that give authors a way to share interactive maps, documents, and rich media securely and correctly to every user on any device. Please reference the list of supported content providers.
Open Author Menu
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Author icon. Then, click the Courses menu option.
Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.
Open Course
In the Courses page, click the name of a course.
Edit Course
Click the Edit icon.
View Slide
Select the slide where you want to embed the content.
Paste Link
In the Course Content Editor, paste the URL address of the content. Content can range from editable online documents and news articles to social media posts and interactive maps.
Load Embedded Media
Press Enter (PC) or Return (mac) to begin loading the embedded media.
Add Alt Text
To add alt text to the embedded content, select the content and click the Alt Text link. This alt text provides additional information to users who may be using a screen reader while navigating the Bridge course.
View Embedded Content
Preview the embedded content by clicking the Course Preview tool.
