How do I create a Practice exercise in Bridge? Follow
You can add a Practice exercise to a new Bridge program or to a previously-created Bridge program using an LTI integration. When a Practice exercise is added to a Bridge program, learners can complete the Practice exercise within the Bridge interface. Before enabling a Practice LTI integration in Bridge, you must contact your organization's CSM (client success manager) to activate a paid Practice subscription. Once your Practice subscription is active, your CSM will share a document with you that contains directions on how to enable the Practice LTI integration in Bridge.
Note: Users that access Practice through an LTI integration will not receive email notifications from Practice.
View Practice LTI Linker
The Practice LTI Linker page opens in Bridge. You must create a Practice group and Practice exercise in order to add an exercise to a Bridge program.
Select Practice Group
If you created a Practice exercise before logging into Bridge, click the name of the group [1] that contains the exercise you would like to add to the Bridge program. If you did not create a Practice exercise before logging into Bridge, create an exercise and add it to a group by clicking the Library button [2].
Select Practice Exercise
Click the name of the Practice exercise you want to add to your Bridge program.
Create Exercise LTI Link
Click the Score Type dropdown link [1] to select a score type to pass back to your Bridge program. Completion information is automatically sent to Bridge based on the score type you select.
The Completion Score selection [2] marks a Practice exercise complete in Bridge after the employee completes at least the Prompt and Response stage of the exercise. This allows the employee to complete the exercise and move on to the next step in the Bridge program even if none of their peers review or assess their response.
The Instructor Score selection [3] marks a Practice exercise complete in Bridge after the author assesses the employee submission. Once the author's assessment is sent, the employee is marked as complete for the exercise and the employee can move on to the next step in the Bridge program.
The Peer Score selection [4] marks a Practice exercise complete in Bridge after the exercise is reviewed and assessed by one of the employee's peers.
After making a score type selection, click the Create LTI Link button [5].
Note: If an author selects the Peer score type, it is possible that employees who complete an exercise submission may still be blocked from moving forward when in a program that must be completed in order. When the Peer score type is selected, the employee's progress in the program depends on when their peers assess and review their submission.
