Practice Release Notes (2018-12-13) Follow
In this Practice release (December 13), authors can create exercises that have no associated assessment scores, show or hide assessment results from learners, and create assessments that are formatted horizontally or vertically.
Updated Features
Assessment Scoring
Authors can create exercises that have no associated assessment scores. With the availability of unscored exercises, authors can provide feedback to learners and assess a learner's proficiency in a way that is tailored to the purpose of each individual exercise.
Authors, admins, and learners can still see aggregated data for unscored exercise assessments, such as how often certain assessment answers were chosen by assessors. For scored exercises, authors can show assessment scores to learners or hide assessment scores from learners. Learners can still see feedback and other assessment results if scores are hidden, but they will not see any score values.
Assessment Formatting
Authors can create assessments that are formatted horizontally and vertically. Assessments with horizontal layouts can still contain up to five answer choices, but assessments with vertical layouts can contain up to ten answer choices.
