The Manager's Contribution to Employee Well-being
May is well-being month. Well-being in the workplace doesn't happen by accident. 75% of medical costs are due to preventable conditions. The opportunity cost of poor well-being is estimated to be $20 million for every 10,000 workers. There is $322 billion in lost productivity worldwide due to employee burnout. In this session, we will discuss the manager's impact on employee well-being.

Using Your Voice to Maximize Your Influence and Communicate Effectively
Your content accounts for only about 7% of what people get from your message. Your body language and gesticulations account for about 55% of what people remember, the other 38% is your voice. How do you feel about your voice? Most people hate the sound of their voice on recordings. Did you know your voice is an instrument and just like a piano or a guitar, it requires tuning and practice to make it sound the way you want it to sound.

Play to Your Strengths: A StrengthsFinder Primer
Play to your weaknesses! Nobody ever says that. That's because it's a dumb idea! And yet, over 60% of us think it's a good idea. As managers sometimes we tell our people, "Your strengths are great and they'll take care of themselves. Let's focus on your 'areas of opportunity.'". That's a big fat lie. In fact, it's two lies. Your strengths won't take care of themselves if you don't develop them and weaknesses are not, never have been, and never will be "areas of opportunity". In this session, you'll get an introduction to the CliftonStrengths assessment from one of the world's first Gallup-certified Strengths Coaches. This isn't a sales pitch, it's just a free session about the world's leading assessment of talent. Come with all your questions!
- June 30 (60 min): 10:00 MT (9:00 PT/ 11:00 CT/ 12:00 ET) REGISTRATION LINK
