In this Bridge Learn release (September 12), LinkedIn Learning categories are organized by three categories to streamline content. Additionally, group relevance is no longer set by default for LinkedIn Learning categories.
Updated Feature
LinkedIn Learning Categories
LinkedIn Learning categories are organized by three categories: business, creative, and technology. The reduction of categories helps users feel less overwhelmed by the amount of content, as well as make it easier for admins to manage LinkedIn Learning content.
Each category is labeled with a language. Users with an English-only catalog have three categories: LinkedIn - Business - English, LinkedIn - Creative - English, and LinkedIn - Technology - English. Users who have access to the full-language catalog have 19 categories total. Category names can be edited and changed by admins.
Group relevance is no longer set by default for LinkedIn Learning categories. All previous LinkedIn Learning categories have been wiped from the Learning Library, and admins will need to go into a group and add the new categories as relevant content in order for them to be visible to users.
