In this Bridge Learn release (April 4), the Lynda.com integration has been replaced by the LinkedIn Learning integration. Additionally, email formatting updates have been made in the email suite. Several bug fixes are also included.
New Feature
LinkedIn Learning Integration
Lynda.com has been acquired by LinkedIn. The existing Lynda.com integration has been deprecated and replaced by the LinkedIn Learning integration. The LinkedIn integration can be turned on in the Apps tab in the Account Settings page.
The Lynda tab on the Learning page has been removed in accounts that do not have subscriptions with Lynda.com. Accounts with existing Lynda.com subscriptions will be contacted about migrating to LinkedIn Learning. Once enabled, all of the LinkedIn Learning courses will populate in the Learning Library. 30+ categories will also be synced into the library.
Other Update
Email Formatting Updates
Email formatting updates have been made to the email suite. All notification email templates have been updated and now include custom branding colors and logos.
Fixed Bugs
Password Reset
The password reset process distributes password reset emails. Previously, if a user had sent a password reset request when a password had already been set up but had not yet logged in to Bridge, it would result in an error message.
Tagged Courses
Tagged courses display in the learning library when filtering by tag. Previously, tagged courses were not displaying in the learning library when filtering by tag.
Single Sign-On Welcome Email
The Go for a Spin button is present in the Single Sign-On Welcome email. Previously, the button was not appearing in the Single Sign-On Welcome email.
