Domo: Setting up the Bridge Connector Follow
If you are a Domo customer and want to import your Bridge data so that you can combine it with other data sources that you’ve imported to Domo, the setup is simple.
Pre-Requisites
You’ll want to make sure you have the information below as well as access to the Data Center in Domo before you start.
- An API Key and Secret from your Bridge account (any admin can generate these)
- Your Bridge domain. For example, if your Bridge URL is https://learning.bridgeapp.com, then learning is your Bridge domain
- Access to the Data Center page in your Domo account
Bride API and Secret
To generate your Bridge API and Secret login to your Bridge account:
- Go to Admin > General > Account Settings > API and click the + ADD TOKEN button
- Select the role for the token, give it a name and set an expiration date if desired
- Once you have entered that information, click the Save button and Bridge will display the Key, Secret and Authorization (encoded token)
Make sure you copy and paste the Secret and Authorization (encoded token) into a separate file. They will not be displayed again.
Bridge Domain
The Bridge Domain is visible in the URL you use to login to Bridge. For example, if your login URL for Bridge is https://learning.bridgeapp.com then the Bridge Domain is learning.
Domo Data Center
The Domo Data Center is where you add the Bridge connector to your Domo account and configure which Bridge data you want to import and how often. Access to it is often restricted to people in your organization with an Admin role in your Domo Account.
Set up the Bridge Connector
As a Domo Admin login to your Domo account and navigate to the Data Center (Application Switcher > Data Center)
From the main Data Center page, choose the Cloud App option in the Connect Data bar near the top of the page.

Use the search bar to find the Bridge connector:

Click on the Bridge Connector and then choose the GET THE DATA option at the top of the page.

Domo will prompt you to enter your API KEY, API SECRET and DOMAIN. Enter those in the appropriate fields and click Connect to continue.

After saving the credentials, Domo will ask you which report you want to import in to Domo. Select the data you want to import from the Report select list. You also need to specify information to determine which data will be imported when this instance of the connector runs.

Finally Domo will ask you to set a schedule. This will determine how often Bridge Data is imported and updated in Domo.

Once you have completed all these settings and saved your choices, Domo will perform an initial import and provide a preview of the imported data.
At this point you can use any of the imported data to create cards with visualizations in Domo.
If you want to import the data from more than one report, complete this same process for each Report that you want to import to Domo from Bridge.
If you have any questions about how to create the cards, you will need to work with the Domo experts in your organization.
