How do I use the Chapter Editor in Bridge Advanced Video?

The Chapter Editor enables you to add chapters to a video. The chapters act like bookmarks; they enable the learner to jump to a specific point in time in a video.

Open Media

While editing a course, click the Media icon in the authoring toolbar.

Open Bridge Advanced Video

Click the Bridge Advanced Video icon. From this interface, select the Video Card that you will be editing.

Open the Video Editor

To access the Video Editor, first, click the Menu [1] on the container that houses the video. Next, select Video Editor [2] option.

Open the Chapter Editor

To open the Chapter Editor, click on the Chapter Editor icon.

Using the Chapter Editor

To add chapters to your video, click the Play/Pause [1] button on the timeline to select where the first chapter should be placed. Type the name [2] of the chapter and click the Save [3] button.

The Chapter list displays to the right of the video. You can add as many chapters as needed. To edit or remove the chapters, click the Edit and Delete icons.

Once you have added your chapters, the learner simply clicks on the chapter name to access that part of the video.
