New Skills Features Introduced to Bridge Learn
Employee profiles, org charts, and skills communities are now available for Bridge Learn customers. Previously these features were only available in Bridge Perform. If you are a Bridge Learn customer and would like these features enabled, please contact support or your CSM.
Two important notes:
- If you choose to enable skills, it will be enabled in all subaccounts. We do not currently have the ability to restrict skills to the root account
- Your main navigation will change. Please see below
Feature Overview:
Employee Profile: In Bridge, each employee can have their own profile personalized with their bio, image, skills, and interests. Individuals can highlight the skills they have—and are willing to share— and identify skills that they want to learn.
Directory & Org Chart: Share employee profiles in an interactive org chart and directory. Here, employees can learn about their colleagues, both personally and professionally.
Skills Communities: Foster community and make it easier for employees to find subject matter experts, mentors, and collaborators. In the directory, employees can find skill communities and see who is willing to mentor them on a specific set of skills.
Navigation Changes:
If you choose to enable these features, the navigation will change. You will now have a “ME” tab that will direct you to the My Learning page. You will also have a “Company” tab where you will find “People Search” and “Org Chart”. This video outlines these changes.
The table below gives an overview of the features you will be receiving. Please note that all of these features can be disabled in admin settings under the beta tab (see screenshot below), except for the Employee Profile.
