Studio Sharing and Reporting Answered

Does anyone know how to access a report for just the videos in studio? We are finding that people can complete a course without watching the videos in their entirety. We would like to be able to run a report for the videos only. While we can see how much time is spent within a course, we have multiple videos we would like to see quick specifics for.

Hi Claudia,  I believe this guide would be helpful.

    Hi Claudia Corleto,

Aside from the guide, my guess is, like one of my coworkers, you want an exportable report. Unfortunately, no luck on that front. I would recommend using quizzing to support video content. For example, if it's important, I will put quiz questions immediately after the video to prevent the learner from skipping video content.

When I selected the link in my reply above, it did not go to the Help Guide, so here are the instructions in words. While in Studio, select the video you want to view the insights. There is a drop-down menu below the video, change from "My Library" to the "<name of the course>". Then select Insights from the tab. It will show you everyone that has watched the video. If you select an individual user, it will show you their viewing time. I hope that helps.

Katherine Taylor, thanks so much for your helpful and rapid response! I updated your post with the correct link so people viewing in the future will have that resource. If you think something with this platform caused that link to be entered incorrectly feel free to let me know and we can look into that. Thanks again to everyone helping each other out in the Community!

Thank you. I can see each individual video but is there a way to see them in bulk? We have multiple videos within some courses and would like to see progress for all without having to check them out one by one.

    Hi Claudia Corleto,

Unfortunately no, and this is exactly what my coworker wants. She wants to be able to go into Deep Dive, have a way to select either the course or the video by name and export a report of video logs by learner. Right now the best bet is to use another measure, such as follow up quizzing, which we can use reporting for.

    Claudia,

There is a new feature request tool built directly into Bridge. I would recommend sending in your idea. This new request tool is just a Google form so it doesn't allow us to collaborate around the idea like we could in the old community. Our CSM assured us that the product team does review the requests each week though. To access is, click the help and resources icon (question mark) and then select share an idea.

    Good luck!

    Amy
