Logo / Branding in a Program Answered

Maureen Alto

I need some assistance.  I am trying to create a branded program header but the limitations on the pixels is giving me quite the challenge,  I am creating a unique logo for this page but once published it is stretched and too large and not capturing the full image.  Any ideas on how to make this work?

Thanks

Hey Maureen Alto. We have this guide that might help. It has a section about programs:

    • Images in Program Cover Slides

Dimensions for program cover slides should be approximately 1040 x 500 pixels at 72 ppi for maximum image quality while maintaining minimal image load time for learners.
Program Cover Slide images will be scaled down proportionally to a width of 300 pixels when displayed in the Learning Library.

If that doesn't help, could you share the image you are trying to use and show a screenshot of what it looks like with the issues you mentioned? Thanks!

    Gina,

If you change the logo it will be changed in all courses. That is in the Branding options at the link below. This has to be done by an account admin. Be careful because it could mess up color options that have been selected in existing courses.

How do I edit content branding for an account?

If you just need a logo that is within one course, you can load it as an image. We do this for all of our courses created in-house. We use a different version of our logo than what is on the account branding. For the account, it is a smaller, more square version. For courses, we use a horizontal version that looks more like a banner. This helps distinguish our content from vendor-provided content.

    Respectfully,

    Amy
