Use Cases / Scenarios for Checkpoints

Hi All!

I'm relatively new to Bridge, have used Cornerstone LMS in a previous role. I'm looking for some examples of how you are utilizing the Checkpoint functionality in your instances of Bridge. We're looking to create some engagement and interaction in our eLearnings. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

    Hello Melanie,

    We use the Checkpoints a little differently from most. Typically we only use them to log external training. This sort of training usually requires evidence in the form of a certificate and this is the only way we are able to log those certificates. This is also the only way for us to require manager approval so that our Learning & Development Team isn't responsible for determining if a training is beneficial and should be added to the employee's training record. We leave that discussion up to the employee and their manager and then the manager has to approve once we add the training as a checkpoint. 

    Ideally, employees will be able to add their own checkpoints (or some other feature) in the future so we don't have to facilitate that sort of logging.
