Following Microsoft’s announcement of the retirement of the Internet Explorer 11 browser on August 17, 2020, Bridge will be removing Internet Explorer 11 from the list of supported browsers as of November 15, 2021. You can see a list of supported browsers in our guide on "Which Browsers are Supported by Bridge."
What does ending support for a browser mean?
- Ending support of the Internet Explorer browser means that we will no longer run quality assurance tests in this browser. If an issue occurs within that specific browser, we will not correct the behavior.
Why would you stop supporting Internet Explorer?
- On August 17, 2020, Microsoft announced its intention of retiring Internet Explorer in favor of Microsoft Edge. When a browser is not being actively maintained and updated, it limits the browser's ability to continue supporting software applications.
