Edit certificates to personalize them or upload your own
Thanks for the great idea. We'd love to see this idea materialize in Bridge in the future, unfortunately this won't likely happen in 2017. We will keep this archived so that we can review it in the future!
I'd like to add on some specific things that it would be good to be able to customize:
A lot of our clients take these certificates into the field (typically at a small wallet size) and need them to show proof that they completed training. These things would make the certificates compliant and show that they have the training they need to start a job.
Lindy had a similar idea: "I would like to be able to customize the completion certificate of my course or program. It would be great to have the option to upload a customized certificate design, or at least be able to upload different logos and customize the colors on the certificate template. For my company, the courses often represent different products that have their own brand and logo, which is different than our company logo. So after they complete a course on a particular product, it would be great if their certificate represented the branding of that product, not of our company."
We'd like to be able to add a disclaimer to the certificate which basically says that the certificate in no way represents a qualification or any kind of formal certification. The learner needs to be aware that the certificate is simply acknowledgement that they have completed a course, and nothing more.
This is a great idea. We currently create our own in house but this could work in the future if there was an option for our company logo, customization with certain fields as well as an area to include our CEOs digital signature.
We feel similarly about being able to add a signature field. It's currently a requirement of ours that we have that field on all our training certificates.
I also have an idea like this in the community. We would love the option to turn on or off the fields on the certificate. For example, we don't want score or date on our certificates. We could click the options off or on.
Because we are accredited to provide CME and CE's, there are specific verbiage that must be present on our certificates, so the ability to edit would be most beneficial.
