We would love to have Bridge do stuff faster, e.g. adding people to Smart Groups, adding learners to courses/programs, updating the learner's view to accurately reflect their statuses in courses/programs etc. Here are just a few examples of what we've been experiencing:
- We recently 'went live' with four mandatory training courses for about 9000 of our employees. Adding our Smart Group to the trainings to enroll the learners was time sensitive since there were several communications queued up in advance. We added the Smart Group (~9000 users) to the four programs at 6:00 am. Bridge didn't finish enrolling the learners in the four courses until about 12:00 pm (six hours later).
- When we created the Smart Group of ~9000 users, it took Bridge several minutes (10-15) to fully create the group.
- Occasionally (36% of our Bridge tickets), when a learner completes a training, our Admin can see that the training is complete in Bridge but the learner cannot - even if they refresh their browser or use a different browser. We ask them to check back tomorrow, since we don't know if it will display for them in a minute or two, or in a few hours.
While we can (and do) try to adjust the way we work with Bridge (expect it to take longer than we feel that it should), we would really love it if Bridge processing rates were improved.
This idea was considered when developing our product plan for Q1 2019 and is not expected to influence development within Bridge at this time.
