I'd like to allow learners to watch videos or take short "microlearning" courses without having to take the extra steps, or make the extra clicks, to choose "Register" or "Enroll" before being shown the content.
The additional step(s) here slow down the access to courses, and make it more difficult to obtain buy-in to the training program and lead to lower overall commitment to learning and learning systems in our organization.
Steps to recreate:
- Log into Bridge Learn
- Click "Learning Library"
- Locate desired course, select "Start"
- Read title and description again, select "Register" -- REMOVE THIS STEP
- Complete course
If we could check a box during authoring or during SCORM upload which allowed us to remove that step from some/all courses, then we could more easily deliver custom content that doesn't fit the old "classroom" model, and more easily adapts to the "quick win" or "microlearning" models.
