As a training admin, I was asked if nested programs could be built (programs within other programs). I currently only see courses and live training as content types to add to programs.
Right now, if you want Program A to be within Program B, the best option is to put all the courses from Program A into Program B. That way all the content you want is within the same program.
We'd love to hear more about your use case and how you'd like to leverage programs within programs. Please reach out to Jeannine Orr if you'd like to setup a time to discuss.
Our use case is pretty simple. Our new employee training program contains a set of courses on medication administration, among many other compliance trainings (HIPAA, Boundaries, etc). We are not conerned about the order in which most of the training is completed, but there is a certain chronology to understanding medication procedures. We would like to fix the medication program in a particular order while allowing everything else to be completed in any order. The solution we have to this now is to make the entire medication program into a single course to force the order to be fixed, but the size of it is simply overwhelming for new hires (they are filled with dread to answer a quiz questions for fear of needing to retake everything over again).
Does that make sense?
