Our company has many young learners and they function primarily in App notifications land. I believe Canvas has an app. Is this something just not desirable enough? Or maybe there is one on the way and if so when?
It's something that's desirable for Bridge. However the impetus for Bridge vs. Canvas is a little different. When Canvas was initially developed, HTML 5 and other mobile first enablements weren't what they are now so an app was even more critical for our sister product. Bridge was built with mobile first development practices so we didn't run into some of the mobile usability issues that Canvas did. Bridge will get there but there are a number of things that we're focused on in core functionality that we consider higher priority.
