My question: How can I turn off the suggested videos that appear at the end of YouTube video that I've added to a slide in a slide within a Bridge course?
I attempted adding "?rel=0" to the end of the video url but it didn't appear to work.
In case it's useful background: I'm using YouTube embeds as a way to facilitate having closed captioning for the videos, since I didn't see a way to add closed captioning in the native Bridge video player. If closed captioning is possible in the Bridge video player, I welcome a how-to on that front.
Per Bridge support, it is not currently possible to turn off YouTube's suggested videos at the end of a video.
From the Help team:
"Currently there is no way to stop the suggested videos at the end of the YouTube Videos inside of Bridge. This is due to how that embedded frame is interacting with Bridge, because it is not HTML editable, we can not turn those off. (Bridge does not allow HTML editing, the YouTube videos come in with those videos, and because we cannot edit that HTML, it is not possible to turn those off)."
If you would like to vote for the ability to turn off suggested YouTube videos, you can do so here: Turn Off Suggested Videos for YouTube Embeds
