Is there a way to view the evidence in a checkpoint within Bridge instead of having to download and then view. We do not need to download the documents for any reason we just need to view the documents.

It looks like a feature idea has been created for this at Checkpoint evidence preview in browser by Brad Buccambuso. Brad, Thank You for taking the time to submit a feature idea!
Hey Stephanie Embry
Welcome to the Bridge Community! I see you've had a Community accunt for a few months but this is your first post. The short answer atm is, "no, you have to download them first." Currently, we rely on the operating system's ability to open and view various file types accepted as evidence for checkpoints. It is possible to include functionality within a web-based application like Bridge to preview various file types, but every file type requires additional code and the preview functionality can be more limited than what another application is capable of providing when opening that file. For instance, if it's an excel file, should it show the result of a formula or the formula itself? We do have something like this in our other LMS, Canvas, but it is limited to previewing fewer file types than what is accepted as checkpoint evidence. I hope this helps explain why we currently rely on the operating system of the user accessing the evidence for the ability to view that file type. Let me know if you have any questions and again, welcome to the Community!
