How do you a learner's enrollment from "required" to "optional"??
Hi Becki Nelson, I think this will depend on how the learner wound up enrolled as required. Were they enrolled in just the course, and if so, directly or via a Smartgroup? You can set the relevance for the group if they are enrolled that way, The specified item was not found. If one of the groups the user belongs to is set to "Recommended" or "Available in Library" then I think they will have it as optional. If they were enrolled in the course as part of a program that will be required and can't be changed without changing their enrollment in the program.
Along the same lines as Adam Williams comment, I've had to do this before, and had a group of people I wanted to move from required to optional. So I exported enrollments from that course, edited the CSV to include only their UIDs, , went to the groups tab on the course and changed the group enrollment to something other than "Required," then went to the course and "Remove via CSV" -- this caused the enrollments to switch from required to optional.
Quite a few steps, but it worked at that time.
How about changing relevance for just an individual?
