How do I upload a PowerPoint file to Bridge? My PP presentations have audio, so converting each slide to a jpg won't help unless I can add an audio track to each slide.
From everything that I know right now, you can import into bridge using the "upload course" button. You can drag the ppt into the box and Bridge will make each slide into it's own page. Keep in mind that this function will "flatten" your ppt. Meaning, you will not have animations or sound. It's not the best for ppt that have animations or multi media that are needed. You can add the audio files separately but you won't have a way to time them if they are tied to the ppt in a timing manner.
Thank you very much. This helps a lot. Hopefully, Instructure will remedy
this in the future, allowing authors to upload PPT along with animations

If you save the PPT file as a .mp4 movie file you can add the video to Arc and then you could closed-caption it as well.
Have you consider purchasing the product iSpring from www.ispringsolutions.com. I reviewed this product and as I recall you could create a SCORM package that you could import into Bridge. The SCORM would retain the audio/video. The software is around $700.
