I know you are able to edit a course in a program, but what about the settings for the course within that program? Do I need to leave the program to change course settings? Thanks!
Hi Logan Siegler Welcome to the Community! After editing a course from a program, you can get to the course settings page by clicking the 'X' or Close button on the top right.
It may be described as 'leaving the program' from there because you no longer have the '< Back' button, however, you can use your browser's back arrow to return to editing the slides, and once more to return to editing the program.
Thanks for the shout out Adam, glad to be here. What I am looking for is if there is a way to edit the course settings while inside the program, if there is a way. Instead of having to leave the program and search for the course individually, I am wanting to look at the list of courses inside of a program and edit them as needed.
Yes, I think there is a method for doing this. When you are on a program page as an author, you can click the edit (pencil) icon for an item. When you click that icon for a course within that program, you a taken to the edit mode for the course slides. From here you can click the "< Back" button to return to the program. If you need to modify the course settings, instead of the slides, you can click the Close ("X") icon in the top-right of the slide editing interface. At this point, you don't have the back button to return to the program, however you can use your browser back arrow twice to return to the program page. Is that what you are looking to do?
This does work Adam Williams. I just verified in the program Logan and I were working on.
Yay! I'm happy to hear this method works for ya'll and it's great to meet more Brewer Science peeps!
