There is a difference between resetting and re-enrolling learners.
Admins can RESET course enrollments so long as the enrollment has progress. If the enrollment is at a not-started state, the reset option won’t appear in that instance. You would click the progress wheel to access the “Reset Learner” option, same as you would to mark complete. To RESET an enrollment erases progress on the current active enrollment, bringing it to a “Not Started” state.
To RE-ENROLL the learner takes the current active and completed enrollment and makes it inactive while making a new active record for the learner. It is located under the “” icon.
Re-enrolling a learner when the intention was to reset the learner will require intervention from our support team in order to fix.
Please note that for Programs, there is no reset option for these enrollments in the Bridge interface. If the Program is in progress, then you could and would need to reset the individual learnable items within it.
If the program enrollment is complete, then support can also assist with resetting the Program enrollment.
A reset at any level erases the data. It does not make a second record. A second record can be achieved with the re-enroll function.
If you do need our support team, they can be reached at support@bridgeapp.com.
