How to Create and Manage Custom Text in the Learning Library Header

Bridge includes a custom message feature in the learning library header, designed to help organizations share announcements, new content, or welcome messages directly with users. This feature allows admins to create, edit, and publish messages that appear prominently in the learning environment.

Check out the self-guided tour or read on below for an overview.

Creating a Custom Message

To create a custom message:

  1. Navigate to Admin > General in Bridge.

  2. Go to Custom Branding and click Edit Branding.

  3. Scroll down to the Learning Header section and click into it.

  4. Go to Custom Message and select Add Custom Message.
  • If a message already exists, you’ll see options to Edit or Delete it—click Edit Custom Message to update it.

From here, you can:

  • Type your message with a live preview to see how it will appear to users.
  • Use text editor features such as bold, italics, links, and headers.
  • Save messages as drafts before publishing if needed.

Publishing Your Message

Once your message is ready:

  • Click Publish to make it visible to users.
  • The message will appear at the top of learning pages within the app, ensuring all users see the announcement.
  • You can also align the message from left to right to fit your preferred layout.

Use Cases

This feature is ideal for:

  • Sharing new content releases
  • Communicating company initiatives
  • Posting welcome messages for new users
  • Linking to internal company resources

Tip: Some customers build this message directly into their Learning Library Header to keep it on brand and add QR codes for additional company resource options.
