When team members leave the company or change roles, you can seamlessly transfer ownership of a course from one author to another.
Important: Some features may be limited based on your user role permissions.
Begin by navigating to the Global Navigation menu. Click on the "Author" option, then select "Courses."
Note: The Global Navigation menu may vary depending on your account's settings.
Locate the course you wish to transfer. Click on the action menu (three dots) to the right of the course title and select “Transfer Author Ownership.” A window will appear, prompting you to choose a new author.
In the list that appears, search for and select the author you want to transfer ownership to. Click “Select” when you’re ready to complete the transfer.
Note: Only users with authoring access will be visible in this list.
After clicking “Select,” the course ownership will be updated, confirming the new author is now assigned.
