You can add content to your survey in Learn by adding survey questions. As you create content, Bridge automatically saves your work.
Note: Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.
Open Author Menu
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Author icon. Then, click the Surveys menu option.
Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.
Open Survey
On the Surveys page, click the name of a survey.
Edit Survey
Click the Edit icon.
Note: Once a survey has distributions, it cannot be edited.
View Survey Content
Your survey is created by adding a Likert item, which can be in the form of a question or statement. In the content sidebar [1], you can view thumbnails of all questions you create for your survey. As you add additional questions, you can use a scrollbar to view all thumbnails.
When you select a thumbnail, the content appears in the main window of your browser [2]. To preview the survey or the question you are currently viewing, click the Preview icon [3].
As you create content, Bridge automatically saves your work. You can always view the save status next to the course title [4].
To return to the survey details page at any time, click the Close icon [5].
View Question
View the default question template.
Select Answer Type
When creating a Likert item, you can select one of several answer types to measure either a postitive or negative response to the question or statement. In the Answer Type drop-down menu [1], click the Likert response scale you want to use for each question:
- Agreement
- Comparison
- Frequency
- Importance
- Likelihood
- Quality
You can also select either the most positive or most negative response (e.g. Strongly Agree or Strongly Disagree) as the ideal response [2].
Add New Question
To add a new question, click the Add Question button.
Duplicate Question
To duplicate a question, click the Duplicate icon.
