Once you have distributed a survey in Learn, you can message survey participants. Messages are sent to the email address in each user's profile. You can select recipients according to course status.
Notes:
• Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.
• Messaging is a one-way feature; users cannot reply to messages.
• Notifications must be enabled for the account.
Open Author Menu
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Author icon. Then, click the Surveys menu option.
Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.
Open Survey
On the Surveys page, click the name of a survey.
Open Distribution
Locate the distribution list you want to view. You can use the search field [1] or the Sort & Filter drop-down menu [2]. Click the name of the distribution.
Message Participants
On the survey results page, click the Message icon.
Select Recipients
In the status drop-down menu, select the participants you want to message according to survey status.
Create Message
In the text field, enter the content of your message.
Send Message
Click the Send button.
