Skill communities are groups organized around Bridge Skills that create opportunities for mentoring. They allow you to indicate the skills you're interested in learning more about, as well as the skills you're willing to help others develop. This helps your organization align around a common language of skills, standardizing this information across Bridge. Standardizing skills nomenclature is crucial for effective reporting and gaining insights into the skills your organization currently has and those you wish to improve.
You can access Skill Communities by searching for Skills in the Bridge directory or by clicking on the Skills listed in an employee's profile.

A Skill Community includes profile cards of employees who are available to mentor peers on a specific skill, those looking to develop the skill, and those generally interested in it. It also contains learning materials related to the skill.
If you've joined a Skill Community, an indicator will appear next to the peer group you've joined within the community.
