How do I use Learners Transcripts?

The Learning Transcripts tool gives a comprehensive list of all learning items an individual has been enrolled into. This will list created, completed, or active enrollments.  

Accessing a Learners Transcripts

To access the transcript of a specific individual go to the Admin [1] menu, select Manage Users [2] and choose any user you need the transcript for. Once in the users profile you will see the Export Transcript [3] button.

 

Access Transcripts for a Group

To access the transcripts for a specific group of users go to the Admin [1] menu, select Manager Groups [2], and choose any group you need the transcript for. One in the Group page select the Export Learners Transcript [3].

Note: The Export Enrollments option contains all enrollments associated with the users. However, exporting the transcript for the group will only include the items that are specific to the group.

 

What kind of data is in this file?

 There is a variety of helpful information contained in this export.  Such as learnable type: courses, live trainings, programs, and  checkpoints. It shows the score you achieved for a course, the  completion date for the various items, and if setup by the author/admin  the credits the item has been assigned.

We've found the following columns  to be particularly helpful. Column L "learnable name", column M  "learnable item type", and column N "learnable item state".
