LinkedIn Learning integration

Robyn Foshee

Due to interest from multiple groups that use our instance, I'm currently trying out the LinkedIn Learning integration in our test instance. It's a lot of content to ingest all at once - over 20,000 courses, along with many new categories and 5000+ tags. I'm planning to get feedback from our admins group on how this will impact their workflows.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has implemented the LIL integration and how it went for you and your users. Any tips for managing this much external content?

    Hey Robyn,

We did the LiL integration here at TWU and it has been well received. Yes, a ton of courses are added, but it seems very well organized and "filter-able" to find what you need. That said, I am not the expert on this topic as our IT folks are the admins and training cheerleaders when it comes to LiL. If you are interested I can put you in contact with the IT guru who can provide you with more details on our experience.

    Hi Robyn,

Colorado State University Talent Development (employee professional development) took from mid-March through now to evaluate LiL in our Sandbox instance. For now, we have decided NOT to integrate LiL with our production instance of Bridge. Instead, we are curating particular professional development courses and learning paths to offer in Bridge, and the learners will link out to LiL for the content. This of course does not stop our campus from going directly to LinkedIn Learning and taking whichever classes they prefer. We just felt that the amount of LiL content was overwhelming for both learners and administators.

If I can provide more information, please let me know,

Robyn Foshee, hello! I wanted to follow up on your questions about integrating LinkedIn Learning in your production instance of Bridge. At the time, you were testing the high-volume content. If you decided to integrate LiL with your production instance of Bridge, would love to hear how you are managing this endeavor!
