Bridge AI Assistant Guide
Welcome to the Closed Beta! Use this enablement hub to understand how the AI Assistant works, how it supports your admin workflow, and how to get the most out of your beta access.
Overview & Value
A Bridge expert inside every account. The AI Assistant delivers immediate, accurate how-to answers directly inside your workflow using official Bridge documentation.
Core Advantages for Account Admins
Bridge is a rich, powerful platform. Traditionally, admins learn it by stepping away from their work: searching community articles in a new tab, waiting weeks for a workshop, or bugging an internal subject-matter expert. The AI Assistant changes that flow entirely:
- Answers in Your Flow of Work: Get answers without interrupting configuration decisions or losing your place.
- Grounded in Official Documentation: Retrieves from Bridge's public knowledge base rather than making educated guesses.
- Faster Admin Ramping: Accelerates onboarding for new admins and preserves expertise even when internal SMEs transition.
| Question Category | Example Admin Prompt |
|---|---|
| Lifecycle Setup | "How do I set up an annual compliance cycle for new hires?" |
| Feature Comparison | "Should I use a smart group or a manual group for auto-enrollments?" |
| Technical Specs | "What is the difference between SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 in Bridge?" |
How it Works & Interface
Learn how the non-intrusive floating UI stays with you across your admin session without blocking page controls.
You can move between admin pages in Bridge while working. The assistant window stays open and maintains your active chat session automatically.
Key User Interface Features
- Non-Blocking Floating Panel: Designed so it never covers key account controls or primary action buttons.
- Real-Time Documentation Retrieval: Every answer fetches current rules from the Knowledge Base so answers evolve as new product features drop.
- Inline Source Citations: Answers point back directly to full documentation articles if you wish to verify or read further.
- Quota Visibility: Track token consumption transparently inside the panel header at any time.
Access, Security & Scope
A clear breakdown of security boundaries, subaccount availability, and privacy controls during the closed beta.
Security & Data Boundaries
We built the Bridge AI Assistant to be strictly focused on guidance without compromising account privacy:
- Read-Only Guidance: The Assistant cannot modify settings, create items, or act on an admin's behalf.
- Zero Customer Data Path: It retrieves solely from public knowledge base articles and has no path to learner grades, user records, or sensitive account metrics.
- Basic Identity Only: For session personalization, it only accesses basic admin profile fields (e.g., name, job title, department).
| Role / Context | Beta Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Account Admins | Supported | Full access across primary account pages. Disabled during masquerading sessions. |
| Subaccount Admins | Supported | Enabled automatically when activated on main account. |
| Learners & Authors | Out of Scope | Not available for learner or author roles in MVP. |
Beta Feedback & Roadmap
Help us build what comes next. Your feedback directly shapes ongoing enhancements during this closed beta phase.
Every answer includes a thumbs up / thumbs down option. Every rating and comment goes directly to the product engineering team!
What We Are Building Next
We are continuously refining the experience throughout the beta period. Coming improvements include:
- Guided Support Handoffs: If the AI cannot resolve a question, it will prepare a structured conversation summary that you can paste directly into a Bridge Support ticket.
- Conversation Management: Adding full conversation deletion options so admins have complete control over what conversation history they want to save or remove.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about languages, usage caps, cost, and scope.
Is there an additional cost or add-on SKU for the beta?
No. There is no add-on SKU or separate packaging restriction required during the closed beta phase.
Are there usage limits or token caps?
A standard token quota applies to prevent abuse. Admins can view their remaining consumption directly inside the chat window. We do not anticipate limits posing an issue during normal daily workflows.
Which languages are supported?
The Assistant is designed to pull from Bridge's English documentation. While it may occasionally respond to questions asked in other languages, official support and accurate knowledge retrieval are limited to English.
Can I enable the Assistant for a single sub-account only?
No. When the assistant is enabled on an account, all associated sub-accounts gain access for sub-account admins as well.
What happens if the Assistant doesn't know the answer?
Rather than guessing or generating inaccurate information, the AI is trained to transparently state when it cannot find an answer in official documentation.
