Peer Review in Performance Conversations

Peer Reviews are a new addition to Performance Conversations. This includes employee peer nomination, manager peer approval, peer review completion, and populating submitted peer feedback responses in the manager agenda and the shared Performance Conversation agenda.

Notes:

  • Peer Reviews can only be added to Staged Performance Conversation Cycles.
  • Advanced Peer Review settings cannot be edited in active or closed Performance Conversation cycles.

How to Set Up Peer Reviews in a Cycle

When creating a new Performance Conversation, select Staged [1], it will then provide you the option to Enable Peer Reviews in the Cycle [2] and select Anonymity Level [3].

Admins can set a minimum and maximum peer section limit.

  • 1 is the minimum limit that can be selected
  • 30 is the maximum limit that can be selected.

Admins can select anonymity for peer feedback responses.

  • Anonymous feedback recipient.
  • Fully Anonymous to feedback recipient and their manager
  • Non-anonymous to feedback recipient and their manager.

Peer Review Questions

When setting up questions for the cycle you can select Peer as one of the options; this allows you to set up targeting questions for Peers specifically.

Scheduling Peer Reviews

Admins can overlap schedule dates for staged Peer Review Performance Conversation cycles and staged Non-Peer Review Performance Conversation cycle.

New items for a Staged Performance Conversation cycle with Peer Reviews are:

  • Employee Peer list submission - employees select their peers
  • Manager Peer Approval - manager approves peer list for team
  • Peer Review - peer agendas that peers need to complete
