What Is Bridge Career Drivers?

Bridge Career Drivers is an interactive exercise that helps managers understand what motivates their teams and sparks insightful, organic conversations about what employees care most about. It gives employees a framework to define what drives them in their careers, communicate whether their needs are being met, and find the skills they need to achieve their goals.
Adding Drivers to Bridge:
Identifying your career drivers helps you and your manager create a career development plan and connects you to learning and performance tools in Bridge. After completing the activity, add your personal career drivers directly to your Career Vision page in Bridge as part of your development plan.

How the Online Game Works
The 6-step online game walkthrough
The game starts with a deck divided into six piles. Select any pile to start—it doesn't matter where you begin!
Select your top 3 drivers from each pile and drag them into the slots. Define in your own words what these mean to you (e.g. "Creativity" means different things to everyone!).
Once you've chosen from all six piles, select your top five drivers from all remaining cards. Swap or discard cards easily.
Rank your selected cards in order from most important to least important.
Identify how well your needs are currently being met in your role and add notes to help your manager understand your ideal experience.
A detailed breakdown with notes is emailed to you. Use these results in your 1-on-1 check-ins and add them to your Bridge Career Vision page.
