Creating a Magic Link to Help Employees Install the Bridge Mobile App

This guide is for admins who want to make it easier for employees to download and sign in to the Bridge mobile app. Using a magic link ensures employees don’t need to manually enter your company’s Bridge domain, they can go straight to logging in with their credentials.

A Magic Link is an easy way for your people to access your company’s Bridge login page.


Usually, when you want to sign in to an app, you have to type in a specific company web address (domain) before you can even enter your password. It’s one more thing to remember and a common place for typos. A magic link is a special URL that pre-fills your company’s Bridge domain, allowing employees to open the app directly and sign in without having to manually enter the domain.

  1. Use the following template and replace ”mycompany” with your actual Bridge domain:

https://us-central1-awesome-bridge-mobile.cloudfunctions.net/dynamicLink?link=

After the equal (=) sign, put in your company's Bridge URL e.g. https://mycompany.bridgeapp.com

  1. Example: If your Bridge URL is mycompany.bridgeapp.com, your magic link will be:

https://us-central1-awesome-bridge-mobile.cloudfunctions.net/dynamicLink?link=https://mycompanying.bridgeapp.com 

  1. Test the link on a mobile device to ensure it works.
  2. Share the link with employees, making sure they open it on their mobile device.

Note: Vanity or custom domains (domains that don’t end with bridgeapp.com) are not supported.
