How to Use the Analytics Overview Page in Bridge

The Analytics Overview page in Bridge Analytics gives Admins and Managers an easy-to-visualize view of training performance, system adoption, and skills growth across the organization.

From this page, you can filter and download reports, schedule automated deliveries, set custom alerts, and view widgets covering course completion, overdue learners, program status, and learner engagement.

Note: Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.

How Do I Use the Overview Dashboard in Bridge Analytics?

Go to Analytics > Overview to access your dashboard. From there, you can:

Filter Reports and Widgets

Use the filters at the top of the page to find specific data points and drill into your reports and visualizations based on your specific criteria, including:

  • Enrollment, completion, and due dates
  • Root account and subaccounts
  • Groups and manager groups
  • Tags and categories
  • Learnable types (courses, programs, checkpoints, etc.)
  • Required and optional training
  • Expired and active users

Click the refresh button in the top-right corner of the screen to reflect your changes.

Tip: Select the More label to find additional report filters.

Download and Schedule Reports

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your dashboard to access more options. From there, you can:

  • Download an overview of your dashboard in PDF or CSV format.
  • Schedule your dashboard for delivery on a set cadence. Find out more about scheduling reports in Bridge Analytics.

Tip: You can also download a specific dataset from a widget. Click the more options icon within a tile and select Download.

Set Custom Alerts

In the top-right corner of each tile, you’ll find a bell icon. Click it to schedule alerts and notifications based on your defined criteria. Setting these custom alerts in Bridge Analytics gives you a low-touch way to monitor key metrics and insights.

What Learning Activity Can I See With Widgets in the Overview Dashboard?

Learner and Completion Data

This section includes the following three widgets:

  • Overdue learners: The number of learners having at least one overdue learning item.
  • Total number of learners: The total number of learners in your account.
  • Course completion rate: The percentage of completed course enrollments.

Tip: Click the Overdue Learners or the Learning Status widget to see all overdue learners.

Learning Status

The Learning Status widget shows you a breakdown of all enrollments for courses, live training sessions, and checkpoints. Within the chart, you’ll see a breakdown of learner progress by percentage.

Notes:

  • Live training enrollments are considered Not Started until the user is registered for an upcoming session.
  • Checkpoints are considered In Progress once they're assigned.

Program Status

The Program Status widget shows enrollment status for all programs and a breakdown of learners by completion.

Note: The widget is specific to the completion status of the overall program, not the individual learning items within the program.

Live Training Health

The Live Training Health widget provides a visualization of the number of enrollments, registrations, and completed enrollments in live training sessions over a given period.

Monthly Enrollments

The Monthly Enrollments widget shows the number of enrollments in courses, programs, live training sessions, and checkpoints per month.

Program Health

The Program Health widget displays the number of enrollments above a certain percentage. For example, if there are 158 enrollments in the >50% column, it means that 158 learners have completed more than 50% of the learning items in that specific program.

Time Spent on Courses

The Time Spent on Course visualization displays the total time spent on training across all learners in your account over a given period.

Click the number value for a granular view at the course level by each user.

Details View

The Details View section provides you with tables for:

  • Course Progress
  • Live Training Progress
  • Checkpoint Progress
  • Program Progress

Each table breaks down learning items and covers key details, including enrollments, overdue enrollments, and completion rates.

Tip: Click the progress bar to view more information.

Group Sizes

The Group Sizes chart shows an overview of groups within your Bridge account and the number of learners in each group.

Note: A learner can be part of more than one group.

Most Frequent Tags and Categories

The Most Frequent Tags and Categories chart shows the number of learning items for each tag and category used in your account, helping you organize your content and ensure learners can find relevant training.
