Bridge supports multiple integration methods, including:

Integration Costs and Availability

Is There an Additional Cost for Integrations in Bridge?

It depends. See below for more information:

  • APIs: Free to use. You can build and connect your own systems using our open API framework. The current rate limit is five calls per second.
  • Webhooks: Setup is free through Bridge Support (you’ll need to provide a secure endpoint).
  • Integration-as-a-Service: Available for an additional cost to cover setup, hosting, and maintenance. This will require a statement of work to outline the scope, timeline, and cost.
  • Custom scripting or consulting: Available at an hourly rate for advanced technical support, and will also require a statement of work to determine the project scope.

Tip: Check out How to Use the Bridge API for further guidance.

How Do I Integrate Content Into Bridge?

When setting up a content integration, we’ll work with you to clarify details such as:

  • Whether the provider’s content lives inside Bridge
  • If the provider can dispatch SCORM content directly to Bridge
  • Whether they’ll deliver ZIP files of their content
  • If learners will complete training externally, with Bridge tracking completions

Does Bridge Support Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI)?

Yes. Bridge currently supports LTI 1.2.

Technical Integration Requirements

Do I Need a Developer for Custom Integrations?

That depends on the complexity of your integration. Many customers can manage simple configurations internally, but more advanced projects typically require technical expertise.

For best results, we recommend having access to a resource (internal or external) with the following skills:

  • API-based integration experience
  • Workflow and process design
  • Understanding of data models and databases
  • Familiarity with the third-party system being integrated

Does Bridge Support Single Sign-On and Two-Factor Authentication?

Bridge internal authentication doesn’t support multi-factor (MFA) or two-factor authentication (2FA). However, an external identity provider that supports MFA or 2FA can be leveraged.

What If the Application I Want to Integrate Isn’t Listed?

If you don’t see your desired integration mentioned in our documentation, contact Bridge Support for guidance.

Our team will help evaluate your options, typically starting with whether the external system can ingest a flat file via SFTP, as this is often the simplest and most reliable integration method.
