How to Export Data in Bridge: Data Export Reference Guide

A data export “data dump” is a full export of your account's learning, skills, and performance data, delivered as a set of CSV files inside a zip folder.

This guide covers how to generate a data export in Bridge, what each file in the export contains, and how to cross-reference files like course completions, enrollments, and user records to build custom reports.

Before You Begin

  • Some features may be restricted based on your role permissions.
  • Download All Data must be enabled in your Bridge account.
  • If you have access to Bridge’s skills development and performance management capabilities via Full Suite, the corresponding files are automatically exported with every data dump.

How to Export Account Data in Bridge

  1. Go to Admin > Tools > Download All Data.
  2. By default, all files are selected for export. Use Select All and Select None, or check the boxes next to the file names to export specific files.
  3. After you select the files you want to include, click Generate Export to begin downloading your data.
  4. The status will display as pending once the export begins. The export date and time are also displayed and will update automatically each time you create a new data export. You can cancel the export at any time by clicking the Cancel button at the top of the screen.
  5. Once the download is complete, click the Download button to save a zip folder to your device. This will contain all of your CSV files.
